According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia launched 173 drones, 50 of them jet-powered, in an attack that began at 18:00 on 25 September; by 07:30 on 26 September, 134 had been shot down or neutralised, with hits recorded at 19 locations. Attacks on 26 September killed 6 people and injured 45; Kyiv was targeted for the third consecutive night on the night of 26–27 September.
According to Air Force data cited by Mezha, the attack began at 18:00 on 25 September and continued until the morning of 26 September; Shahed drones, jet-powered variants and Gerbera and Parodiya decoy drones were launched from Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Shatalovo and occupied Donetsk and Crimea. Of the 173 drones, 134 were shot down or suppressed; hits were recorded at 19 locations and falling debris at 8.
According to a Kyiv Independent round-up on 26 September, 6 people were killed and 45 injured over the course of the day: 2 dead in Druzhkivka and 8 injured across Donetsk region; 2 women killed and 7 people injured in Zaporizhzhia; 1 person aged 69 killed in Sumy and more than 10 injured, including a 1.5-month-old baby; and in Kherson, 35 settlements were targeted, with 1 person killed and 3 injured. In Kyiv, 5 people were injured in 4 districts and the Darnitsa pharmaceutical plant was hit; there are 2 injured in Kyiv oblast, 5 in Kharkiv and 4 in the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk. Five air raid alerts were issued in the capital by 10:00.
According to the Kyiv Independent, Russia carried out a drone attack on Kyiv for the third consecutive night on the night of 26–27 September: an empty residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district, open ground and a 5-storey residential block in the Solomianskyi district were hit, a fire broke out at a warehouse and 1 woman was injured. The total number of drones that night was not disclosed and could not be verified.
